A spinoff of the annual UTOPiAfest, Eclipse UTOPiA offers the best seat in the house to the “Great Texas Twoclipse,” where the paths of last year’s annular eclipse and this year’s astronomical event will cross. Focusing on Texas-centric talent, the 46-artist lineup is headlined by soul-pop force Sir Woman, funk-driven electro-rock duo Ghostland Observatory, and Latin neo-soul searchers Caramelo Haze. I unfortunately just missed her. But seeing her performance numerous times before so can say that she is truely an amazing artist. With a heart of gold and a voice of fire she captivates attention, allowing the audience to open to new perspectives. Her strong stage presence and powerful lyrics create music that is more than just heard but also felt. Endulging the the audience and leveing them instantly wanting more after its done.
