About this concert
Naarm/Melbourne six-piece Mature Themes are back with their brand new single 'I Don't Care Anymore', a near six-minute journey of fuzzy, sun-soaked psychedelia. Lyrically the song describes 'having a weight lifted off your shoulders and nally feeling like yourself again after a troubled time'. While holding on to that familiar 60s meets 90s inspired psychedelic sound they’ve gained a reputation for (a la The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Spiritualized, The Black Angels), here they delve into euphoria with lush vocal harmonies and rich piano melodies that give a sense of hope and elevation.Join them at The Tote Upstairs on Apr 25 to launch the track alongside art punks Speccy, and psych-pop outfit Go Dog Go.
