Jeremy Beggs "Been Looking For" marks Jeremy Beggs' third single release in the past 12 months, a collaboration with fellow Ballaratian Anthony Brooks. The song, originally penned in 2019 for a different project that stalled, feels like uncovering a hidden gem. Rediscovering it about 18 months ago ignited a creative resurgence in Jeremy, prompting him to infuse it with a distinct Americana flavour. There's a poignant symmetry in the significance of the title, especially during this phase of revitalisation. The act of rediscovery, whether it's of something tangible or a connection with someone, can be as fulfilling as the initial burst of creation. "Rich, expressive, and emotional!" is how Sunburnt Country Music described Jeremy Beggs' recent release. After years of shying away from authentically expressing his true calling, this self-taught artist is finding solace and connection on the very stages that once filled him with dread. Instead of succumbing to fear, Jeremy is drawing strength from it, emerging as an artist to watch in Australian Americana. Stefanie Duzel Stefanie Duzel was reluctant to give her music career any attention at all when she began recording her debut album two years ago. At the time she was knee-deep in navigating her pub/music venue The Macedon Railway Hotel through the pandemic before she and her business were devastated further by a fire that tore through the building in 2021. Her hope was that by the time her album was complete she would be in a better position both physically and emotionally to embrace it. Though ultimately the fire at the hotel saw the demise of her business, it opened the doors to new and exciting opportunities to pursue her music. The album The Other Side (March 24th, 2023) was produced by Lachlan Bryan and Damian Cafarella, acclaimed producers, artists, musician in their own right. They've enabled Stefanie to bring ten songs, some co-written with Malcolm Beveridge, to spirited life as an intoxicating mix of Americana, country and folk-rock, all with a soaring pop sensibility built into their DNA. Marcus Cassells & The Baha Collective Marcus is a Singer/Songwriter and guitar player with a folk roots vibe telling a story, drawing inspiration from his time growing up in the country, life events and some of the more confronting elements of life. Collaborating with other singer/songwriters, performing at cafes, hotels and festivals. Combining deep raspy vocals and earthy Country folk tones, original story telling songs, with grit and resonance to everyday life and people.
