Rob49 Biography
Rob49 is a burgeoning rap star, hailing from the 4th and 9th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. With a late start to his rap journey in 2019, hip hop was destined for the young commanding artist who was heavily influenced by the electric rap style and performance of Travis Scott.
After garnering the attention of his hometown, Rob49 swiftly became a voice of the streets. Using his personal life stories, hard childhood and street lifestyle as his inspiration for his music, Rob49 is an authentic storyteller of the new generation New Orleans culture. Rob spent 2020 releasing three tapes - ”4our the World”, “Vulture”, “Krazy Man”, followed up by “4 God” which was released in 2021. But it was after releasing his debut album “Welcome to Vulture Island” in 2022, that Rob49 landed his mark as the next hot rap act. The album gained the support from top artists including Birdman, Kevin Gates, and even Lil Baby, who was featured on his hit record “Vulture Island V2”, which garnered over 20 million YouTube views alone.
