Tab Benoit

Tab put on a great show as usual. He seems to keep getting better. I recommend not sitting in the first 10 rows at Tannahill's tavern. If you sit any closer the vocals and lead guitar are muddy sounding. They need to aim the arrays lower or install some front fills.

Show was great. Venue was accommodating. And cute. Acoustics were nice. I prefer to be front and center but we were late getting tickets to this sold out show so we were balcony top right. Not my fave space to sit at any theater but not bad at all here.

This was the best show I’ve seen in the longhorn. The Cajun can surely whip that guitar. I can’t wait to see him again. I brought my wife and daughter who doesn’t know the blues from her elbow and she was awestruck. Five stars and all my thumbs up.

He really put on a great show, connected warmly with the audience, showed his prowess on the guitar..a really nice guy and brought in a local trumpet player from Santa Fe. This was our first time and many people attending first time to see him live. Some attendees had just seen him in San Diego, California and had to come again to this show! We have our first year Blues festival in Santa Fe this year and will consider having him in our line up next year! www.santafebluesfestival.com

Wonderful Concert. Tab is an amazing guitar player. He is so exciting and absolutely spreads! Cory is a great bass player and a complete showman! The partnership for 30 yrs shows! The drummer pi’s perfectly straightforward. Keeps it going the whole show. What a great concert, 5 Stars!

Good show and the man works hard but I think we like the Tab of some years ago better. He has gotten more aggressive in his presentation, too much over the top soloing with a bit piercing tone for my tast. Check out the past Belly Up concert on TV. That's what we were hoping to see.

I have seen ALOT of music in my 67 years on this planet and have yet to see a humble human put SO much energy into his work. Still beaming 24 Hrs later. A TRUE master at work with a superb compliment of talented associates. I will not forget this for a long time. Hail Tab, you were nothing short of awesome 👏

I’ve seen Tab every time he’s come to Bloomington (gotta 7-8 years now) and he never fails to deliver. The band is tighter than ever and genuinely seems to enjoy what they’re doing. Never heard JD Simo (his opener) and was blown away by his mad skills on the guitar. Once again, a great night in front of a totally packed house. Until next time, Brother!!

Love this guy! The show was great, but seemed short. The band is fun and music is awesome, but I missed Tab's usual banter with the audience. He didn't seem as outgoing. He did mention guitar issues and repair, but he still rocked it!!

Tab Benoit absolutely killed it!! From start to finish, his three piece band rocked, rolled, and then some! I'm 69 years old, have been to many concerts in my time, and Tab Benoit touched my soul! It's probably the best concert I've ever attended. Along with him playing in the Tampa Theater, which is a fantastic venue in a historical building, it couldn't have been better!

Tab played drums for his opener Eric Johanson possibly better than he can play guitar... not sure but dang close. These guys were awesome! They played their hearts out and I didn't want it to end. Tab told stories and played, who could ask for more. He was gracious and personable, I snuck out to the bus were he kindly signed my CD and he talked with my hubby and me about everything from Buddy Guy to Bobcats, cool dude.

Spectacular show, as we have all come to expect from Tab and his most excellent band. He had the sold out crowd rocking and rolling for his entire set. This was a show rescheduled after COVID screwed up the works for us all, and it was a true pleasure to finally get to see and hear Tab!

Good show. Except it was freezing in the theater. Everyone kept their coats on and I wish I'd brought my hat and gloves in. The server said it was by request of the performers. Odd. Only other complaint is that I would have loved to hear more blues. Tab has become quite the rocker during Covid.

Most folks are happy when they take home a souvenir guitar PICK flung into the crowd, for Tab Benoit fans in Athens GA, it’ would be a guitar STRING. Honest music is what Tab describes his passion as he intro’d into an Otis Redding song. Honest and passionate it is! I had a great reserved seat for a standing room crowd to see the now long haired guitar hero performing his delta swamp blues. Tab didn’t miss a beat and he is a must see for any guitar hero wanna be such as myself. It was a great night in Georgia!

Quite possibly THE best concert of my life!!! Granted, I nearly OD'd on live music of late, driving a well worth it four hours to NJ to see Crawfish Fest, so in 3 days I saw two Tab Benoit shows, #'s 5 & 6. In 3 days I also saw 2 Samantha Fish shows...#'s 23 & 24! Plus everyone at Crawfish rocked. But OMFG what a great show last night, made even better by the fact that Tab & I shot it till 2:30am. Amazingly similar after finally meeting, his heart is in the right place and he has plenty of talent and soul to match. He is, without a doubt, in my top ten guitarists I've ever seen live and that is hundreds, live music is where ALL my disposable income goes! 😁 In summary...😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁🤔:cowboy_hat_face:😆🤑🤑🤑 👊👊👊👊👊 😁

Tab Benoit at The Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, NY..this Louisiana musician is about the best blues guitarist to ever grace my blues lovin’ ears..and I’ve seen and heard a lot of them..such raw talent and soul and a personality that would melt your heart...Wish you all could have been there...it was amazing! Don’t miss a chance to see and hear him!

Fantastic show great stage presence, humble, funny seems like a guy I'd like to drink some beer with. As for the music a unique blend of Blues and New Orleans feel. I Love New Orleans! I own his CD's and you should too. Artist like this deserve your support.

That was my third Tab Benoit concert and he never disappoints! This man plays a soulful guitar and I never want his shows to end! I was also pleasantly surprised with the Ute Theatre in Rifle, CO! Really nice venue and will watch for upcoming shows there.

Tab Benoit has become one of my favorite musicians. The way he handles that guitar is something else ! This is a fantastic leaves fun guy with a serious side. The opening bands were fun with some wonderful surprises. The drummer. Rich Smith, played with both of the warm up bands. He was pretty cool.
