Sea Girls est un groupe de rock indépendant britannique formé à Londres en 2015. Le groupe est composé de Henry Camomille, Rory Young, Andrew Dawson et Ole Khan, qui se sont rencontrés alors qu'ils étaient lycéens, jouant dans des groupes différents. En 2017, Sea Girls sort son premier titre, « Call Me Out ». Après la sortie de deux EP, le groupe signe chez Polydor en 2020 et sort le single « Under Exit Lights », suivi rapidement par leur premier album, “Open Up Your Head”.Au début de l'année 2024, Sea Girls a annoncé les détails de leur prochain album, « Midnight Butterflies », qui sortira le 14 mai via leur nouveau label indépendant, Alt. Records. Cet album est décrit comme une collection de chansons qui célèbrent le sentiment d'être vivant et nous invitent à le reconnaître et à le chérir. « Midnight Butterflies » marque l'apogée créative du groupe, offrant leur album le plus complet et impressionnant à ce jour. Après avoir affiné leur live après des années sur la route, Sea Girls vous donnent rendez-vous le 5 septembre 2024 au Badaboum !

The atmosphere of the gig was electric. The lads were energetic and knew how to get the crowd involved and everyone’s voice on stage was just superb (shout out Andrew in particular for the amazing backing vocals). Oliver Keane (support) really helped to get the night started and overall it was just a fantastic gig!

Kicking off 2024 the band have announced details of their forthcoming brand new third album `Midnight Butterflies' dropping in June. It's focused melodic joy, pop perfection in twelve parts. It's the confident sound of a band arriving at their peak.
Sea Girls creatively are utterly rejuvenated on this record, a true artistic statement. The band’s previous two albums have been building towards this moment, and this totally modern, open-hearted band are set for their biggest year yet in 2024.
Brand new tracks, the juggernaut Weekends And Workdays + Young Strangers co-written with Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Haim) and latest I Want You To Know Me are full of immediacy, pop hooks and positive open-hearted lyrics. Melodies that create expansive and intelligent indie pop with an effortless feel. An authentic and sincere new sound it is tapping into the themes of this new album, of moving from dark into light.
