Start to finish class act. Superb . Only went to see them left for The Moon before the lead guitarist out the door. Missed them in the day. Trying to catch up now. Would love for them to do some Theatre of Hate stuff. Drums lead sax so tight. Some numpties in the audience old enough to know better but great start of the night

Spear of Destiny Biography
Spear Of Destiny are a post-punk rock band who formed in the 1980s lead by Kirk Brandon, former Theatre of Hate frontman. They are best known for their single, Never Take Me Alive, which was a top 20 hit in 1987.
They had (and still have)a cult following and they have produced ten studio albums, notably 'One Eyed Jacks' and 'World Service'. They still tour today and their most recent studio album, Loadestone, has been very well received. It includes a remarkable cover of the Joy Division track, Transmission.
A new studio album, titled 'Imperial Prototype' is due out in late 2007.
Kirk Brandon toured with original members of Theatre of Hate in April 2007, and a reissued version of the Westworld album is due to be released with several newly recorded tracks.
