Born of the fickle womb of a cardboard insulated garage in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, JD3 combines elements of blues, rock, grunge and progressive pop music to create an organic, jam-based listening experience. What began simply as, “You have a garage? Sweet! Let’s cover the walls with cardboard and stained rugs and rock the f*ck out,” has blossomed into a progression of performances (featuring the aforementioned rocking out) in a number of upstanding establishments around Chicago. With influences as varied as the foul language in their indignant neighbors’ noise complaints, JD3 is proud to have gone from corrugated sweatshop to a watering hole near you.
