Juiette Z. Payne Biography

This is not an attempt to be outstanding. Nothing lofty or flashy. Scratch the glamour and glitz. Strictly worship. That’s all you get. “…the moment you begin to see me and not the Christ in me,” says Juiette, “the cause is lost.” What you are about to acquaint yourself with is from the heart of one who is passionate about his call to serve.

When discussing his genre of music, Juiette says, “Just as the vast expanses of the ocean has its shores to bring bounds, so it is with music…I wouldn’t identify my music as ‘Christian’. For even though all good things are originated from Him, they are created for all people to enjoy.” Juiette believes that true praise and worship unto God is to offer up ones gifts and talents for the sake of the kingdom—sacrificial worship would be his genre of music.

For his first solo album “Hold On”, Juiette Z. Payne wrote from a perspective from which every single person can relate—sometimes life sucks. His line “My drum longs to hear your heart beat….but the waves of life be drowning out the sound”, emphasizes how the adversities of this world can distracts us from the One who in fact overcame the world. But the concluding message is to “Just hold on…” His acoustic style of music is sure to be enjoyed by all and is full of emotion and comfort for the brokenhearted.

“No lip service. Only heart service.”
