Big Llou Johnson Biography

BIGLLOU's latest album "BIGMAN" was released to rave reviews internationally. A Blues Music Award Winner, Voice host of BB Kings Bluesville on SiriusXM, Actor, Producer and Philanthropist - BigLLou Johnson stays busy churning out voice overs for TV and radio spots and even doing character voices for toys. But you may know him best as the Voice Host of one of the biggest blues stations in the world, B.B. Kings Bluesville on Sirius-XM, a gig he’s had since Sirius and XM merged.

His debut album "They Call Me BIGLLOU" won him a Blues Music Award for Best New Artist. He also was inducted in the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame, won the prestigious SOVAS Award, 2 Reed Awards and a One Voice Award for his voice over work.

A transplanted Chicago native now living and working in Los Angeles, he co-produced Big Man – The Legend of BigLLou with his longtime producing partner Keith Stewart. Stewart, also a Chicago native, is a former member of the popular 70’s R&B group Heav- en & Earth.

A true renaissance man, BIGLLOU has appeared in both film and television projects in- cluding two Barber Shop films with Ice Cube and he distinctive voice has been directed by the likes of Seth MacFarlane, George Lucas, Chuck Lorre and Quintin Tarantino to name a few.
In additional to his Blues Music Award, he was inducted into the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame and he’s won the prestigious Society of Voice Arts Award for Best TV Campaign, two REED Awards for his political voice work and the film “WoodStock of House” won Best Documentary in the San Diego Film Festival which BIGLLOU narrated.
BIGLLOU is also founder and CEO of “The GoldenVoice Audio Foundation” a 501c3 not for profit corp that has raised over $60K for blues related charities.

His music video "SunShine on Yo Face - feat. Anne Harris was selected for screening at 2022 Denton Black Film Festival. He's also an in demand Master of Ceremony for blues events in the US and abroad.
