She performs regularly in the vibrant local folk scene as well as further afield, playing with ceilidh bands and collaborating with fellow musicians and multi-disciplinary artists. From wild, stomping and uplifting fiddle playing, to intimate and expressive singing, her musicianship is embodied and heartfelt. Her rural upbringing in Herefordshire, surrounded by woods and hills, instilled a sense of deep connection with the natural world, and she explores this through traditional song and her own songwriting. She is inspired to hold and create spaces where we can celebrate our interconnectedness with each other and the land we live upon through story and song, in both workshop and performance settings. Georgie and Alana will be performing music from Georgie's debut album ?Wise as a Fool? as well as some new compositions. As a duo, they craft haunting musical landscapes of a cappella harmonies and shimmering instrumentals that speak of a heartfelt connection with the natural world.
