Otis Shanty was forced to invent the term “forest rock” to describe their sound— a wandering yet grounded fusion of alternative psychedelic groove rock, ethereal vocals, and sonic excursions that take the listener off the beaten path.
They have opened for national acts including Iyaz, Swim, and Minor Moon.
Heavily influenced by modern indie and psychedelic rock artists of the past five decades, Otis Shanty has developed a free-flowing, groovy sound and an engrossing live show.
