THE DEAD DAISIES Over a decade ago, The Dead Daisies burst onto the music scene. Their mission, to create some good old fashioned 70s style rock, gather some of the finest musicians in the world, and have a great time keeping rock music alive. The name was inspired by Jon Stevens and an old phrase pushing up daisies as well as the Mexican celebration Day Of the Dead with this theme influencing the logos and artwork throughout the years. They have released six studio, one live, one covers and a Best Of album to a growing army of fans worldwide and are praised by the global media in an era where Rock has been declared dead time and time again. The bands DNA includes an amazing collective of players that includes David Lowy, Doug Aldrich, John Corabi, Michael Devin, Tommy Clufetos, Glenn Hughes, Marco Mendoza, Richard Fortus, & Dizzy Reed. It's been a few years since I've seen these guys, and I missed them. They put on a great show! I loved the inclusion of 3 new songs. They played two from the upcoming album (one that has been released already and another coming in September), and 1 from a blues-themed album for next year. I've heard some musicians say that many people don't seem to like hearing newer stuff live, but I always enjoy them.
High energy, great music, and a lot of goofing around also. Can't beat that!

The Dead Daisies Biography
The Daisies have gone from strength to strength since the release of their self-titled album in 2013. They have released six studio, one live and one covers album to a growing army of fans worldwide and are praised by the global media in an era where Rock has been declared dead time and time again.
The band’s DNA includes an amazing collective of players that includes David Lowy, John Corabi, Doug Aldrich, Michael Devin, Tommy Clufetos, Glenn Hughes, Marco Mendoza, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Frank Ferrer, Darryl Jones, Charley Drayton and Jon Stevens amongst others. They’ve also shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Rock including Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Whitesnake, Foreigner, Judas Priest, ZZ Top and the Hollywood Vampires.
