Mer is the brain child of Edmer, where from the name of the band is derived (edMER), A singer songwriter from Chicago IL. Mer has a all ecompassing set of influences wich began with folk acts like James Taylor,and Simon & Garfunkel; Which later was merged with the influences of pop, rock, funk, Latin, and jazz, with acts like James Brown, Prince, John Scofield, and Madeski, Martin, and Wood penetrating into the magic that is Mer.
