The Goodfellas

PT: The Goodfellas são Nuno Royko e Andy Caz. Nuno inicia a sua experiência no mundo da música electrónica no inicio dos anos 90. Nessa mesma década nasce André que tem o seu primeiro contacto com o público já no decorrer dos anos 2000. Apresentados por um amigo em comum, Marco Pereira, logo notaram que muitas das suas ideias convergiam apesar do gap cultural e que poderia ser interessante a fusão de influências, estando Royko fortemente ligado á vertente Techno e Caz ao House, definindo-se assim o espectro de tendências desta dupla pelos sub-géneros destes dois estilos. Depois de alguns testes bem sucedidos, apresentam-se através de algumas datas no mais conceituado after da cidade do Porto, o Lottus After-Hours, onde ambos já tinham estado ao comando da cabine a solo. Inicia-se assim um ciclo de actuações que incluiu, por exemplo, várias datas por organizadoras como a Collective Therapy entre outras. De volta a 2014, o ano em que a dupla oficializa a sua colaboração com a agência POUF e se apresenta oficialmente como The Goodfellas, chegam á cabine do projecto “La Maison”, onde tiveram oportunidade de apresentar os seus planos para o que será o futuro, tanto na área de djing como na de composição, estando actualmente em estúdio e já com alguns temas disponíveis para escuta. André was born in the same decade and has his first contact with the crowd on the following one. Introduced by a friend in common, Marco Pereira, they quickly realize that their ideas converged despite the cultural gap, and that could be interesting the fusion of influences, with Royko being strongly linked to the Techno scene and Caz to the House, defining the spectrum of shapes from this duo from the sub-genres of this two sides of electronic music. After some successful homework, they introduced themselves throw mornings at the most respected after-hou rs of the Porto City, Portugal, the Lottus After-Hours, where both have been on the decks as solo artists also. The next steps were filled with some gigs for various agencies such as Collective Therapy amongst others. Back to 2014, the year in which the duo formalizes its collaboration with POUF agency and officially presented themselves as The Goodfellas, comes the booth of the "La Maison" project, having the opportunity to present their plans for what will be the future of the fellas, in the areas of djing and composition, currently being in the studio with some works already available for listening.
