About this concert
Myrath, groupe franco-tunisien formé en 2001, a parcouru un chemin musical jalonné de triomphes bien mérités, passant du désert au monde. Le groupe a créé un Heavy métal mélodique et folklorique unique, fusionnant des influences de leurs milieux culturels variés avec conviction et espoir.Malgré des défis géographiques et logistiques, leurs premiers albums, tels que Hope (2007) et Desert Call (2010), ont attiré l'attention des fans de métal à travers le monde. Leur réputation s'est renforcée au fur et à mesure des années grâce à plusieurs tournées mondiales et des spectacles hauts en couleurs comme par exemple au Hellfest en 2023.Enregistré en France pendant la pandémie, leur dernier album KARMA présente des chansons puissantes de power-métal avec des touches folkloriques.La production de Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Epica, U.D.O etc..) a contribué à donner à l'album une qualité percutante tout en préservant tous les détails d'arrangements.Au niveau des paroles, Karma explore des thèmes significatifs, allant de la lutte contre l'addiction et les horreurs de la guerre à la quête éternelle de la paix intérieure. Zaher Zorgati, le chanteur, souligne l'importance d'une lueur d'espoir dans chaque chanson.Avec Karma , Myrath semble revitalisé, prêt à affronter l'avenir avec enthousiasme et une énergie renouvelée. Les nouvelles chansons, conçues pour le live, incarnent l'identité franco-tunisienne du groupe, démontrant leur capacité à surmonter les obstacles et à s'améliorer à chaque étape.

Myrath Biography
MYRATH (meaning "Legacy") is a Metal band from France and Tunisia, a small country well known for its resort areas on the Mediterranean coast but certainly not for its Metal bands, yet in just few years what started out as a teenage cover band, has became a relatively well known and respected band by the international Metal community.
The first two years playing numerous area shows, mainly Death Metal covers, next two years exclusively SYMPHONY X covers.
Early 2005 creating and releasing independently "Double Face", a self produced fan EP.
Early 2006 the band got an opportunity to open for ROBERT PLANT and ADAGIO playing for over 7OOO rabid music fans and meeting their future producer Adagio’s keyboard player Kevin Codfert. With the valuable support of Kevin, MYRATH immediately recorded their first real album "Hope”, the band was signed by the French label Brennus-Music and “Hope” was released in 2007 to France being received very well by critics that predicted a bright future for the band and led to a number of high profile festival performances in Europe.
Their follow up album "Desert Call" released early 2010 by French label XIII BIS RECORDS (Sony distribution) and in the rest of the world by the prestigious American Label Nightmare Records (Sony/Red/MRI) was a second turning point in MYRATH carrier in terms of improved notoriety and increasing their fan base, garnering an even wider interest of media and promoters. "Desert Call" offered a new style of Progressive Power Metal consisting of a mix between traditional Tunisian music and Metal enhanced by a balanced Arabian and western was received exceptionally well by critics putting the band on yet another level.
Third MYRATH album "Tales Of the Sands" was released in late 2011, dubbing their new sound as “Oriental Metal” the band was again launched into even higher status, with sales and opportunities growing finding themselves on opening touring slots with major artists DREAM THEATER, HIM, WASP, TARJA, Megadeth and touring around the world (United Arab Emirates, USA, India, France, Spain, Morocco…) over a few years with many high profile festival performances, the band also made their first live appearance on US soil at ProgPowerUSA the premier progressive metal festival in 2013, and headlining ProgPowerEU in Netherlands to raving fans.
Their new album “Legacy” promises to rocket the band even higher! Myrath have already secured medium slot on the new SYMPHONY X tour in Europe for early 2016, and will secure a major tour for North America, Asia and the Middle East shortly.
