SOLBAR is celebrating its 13th Birthday on Ocean Street  with a big ol' party week!From glorious beginnings back in the Old Soul building, we opened with local superstars Hayden Hack, Sharon Brookes and the Floating Bridges. That was March 2011... since then, we have gone through quite a few pair of shoes, made a bunch of mates, and even chucked a few sick days.We've been celebrating all Weekend, but Sunday the 31st March, will be our final hooray for the weekend, celebrating with a massive bunch of local talent that have come to be part of the fabric and the family. (some have been playing here for over 6 years >>> looking at you Doz!)Betty Taylor will be ending the celebrations on a high. The 4-pice band absolutely wails, smashing together killer guitar solos and smooth triple harmonies. Keeping thorusands of monthly listeners happy on Spotify, the only way is up for Betty Taylor. Already garnering heaps of support across the country, this final blow out is going to kick harder than a disgruntled donkey.Supported by Local Faves  Buttermello & Nana's Pie.Kicking off in the Loungebar, while the suns shining and the beer drinking weather is on! We are breaking it down with some of our fave bands, swapping their kits for kajons, and electrics for acoustics and crooning... well maybe not the crooning, but you get the gist.After we're all warmed up, we are taking it to the back room for those that want that drum, and keeping the front room cruisin' with DJ's scorin' beats.Free entry all day, games and prizes, and very affordable tickets from 7pm to the band room.. what can we say?
