His intricate and funky yet dreamy sounds stem from his upbringing, an environment which fostered his desire for musical exploration. With a professor of music theory for a father and a background steeped in classical piano, jazz, funk, and electronic influences, music has been central to his life from the start. With guitar in hand, Ursidae seamlessly blends the warmth of live instrumentation with the infectious grooves of electronic music. His live performances become a playground of spontaneity, each moment an invitation to join him on a musical journey like no other. The core purpose of Ursidae is to inspire love and movement through layers of hypnotically energizing tones and rhythms! Since beginning in 2017, the Washington, D.C. based producer has performed at celebrated venues like Flash and Rock And Roll Hotel, as well as performances at world-renowned events such as Burning Man & Interfusion Festival. Harun is a Sri Lankan American music producer, DJ, and projection artist based in Washington, DC. His productions and curations are inspired by numerous cultures around the globe and include various genres such as downtempo, soul, funk, disco, and house. By weaving together pulsating basslines , infectious melodies, and irresistible rhythms, Harun will take you on a journey through a joy-filled set that will keep you dancing through the night. VYNX is a DJ based out of Washington DC. Growing up and living in many different states and cities abroad, VYNX developed an eclectic taste in music early on. VYNX plays a lot of different genres and subgenres but feels the most alive playing different styles of techno, house and down tempo. Drawing inspiration from many different artists, VYNX crafts a unique sound that transcends genres, captivating different audiences. As an active organizer for an arts collective, Connectribe, she values knowledge sharing and community connections. Music is so moody for her; each day can bring on a new sound and journey!
