General Admission on sale begins May 1. No purses may be brought into the venue. Clear totes, plastic storage bags, and small clutch purses no larger than 5x8 may be used. Toad the Wet Sprocket is, hands-down, my all-time favorite band. I always wanted to see them in concert, but never got the chance. Life happened and time marched on.
I crept "over the hill" this year. As out of touch that I feel at times, this concert brought back complete nostalgia. My husband went with me to this concert. He only remembered Toad from the radio year's ago, so I thought he might not enjoy himself. I was wrong! He very much enjoyed enjoyed the concert! It was fun to share the experience with him.
I now hear Toad jamming from his truck, his office, the garage, and while he's in the shower. He is always calling me into his office to show me a video of an interview with the band or some fact I might not know.
The Granada Theater couldn't have been a better place to see my favorite band...and being 50 was the perfect age to do it!
