Rowan Biography

ROWAN are an indie powerhouse from Cork City, Ireland. Their debut album, 'Does It Make You Happy?' made a seismic impact in 2022. Released on LA's Beverly Martel label, the album catapulted them to #2 on the Irish album charts, while their singles simultaneously stormed the American alternative charts. Rowan have been played by BBC 6 Music's Steve Lemacq, Lauren Laverne, Radio X's John Kennedy, Sirius XM's Simon LeBon (Duran Duran), RTE 2FM's Tracy Clifford (Track Of The Week) and many more.

The band's energetic live show electrified crowds at major festivals like Electric Picnic, Indiependence, and Other Voices.
Now, Rowan are back in the studio crafting their second album, slated for release in 2024. With their most extensive tour on the horizon, Rowan continues to redefine indie rock. After transcending boundaries, their sophomore album promises to leave an indelible mark on the world stage.

The band released their debut EP No One Is Safe Here in November 2020 to critical acclaim, with EARMILK citing it as "One of the most touching EPs of the year".
