About this concert
Beachwood Sparks pioneered the indie-country genre, pushing Americana into experimental territories with their fusion of twangy country vibes and psychedelic sounds. Their unique niche in the indie music landscape is marked by ethereal melodies and introspective lyrics, influencing countless artists and shaping the “weirder” side of Americana music. With the release of “Across The River Of Stars” in 2024, their legacy as genre innovators continues to grow, solidifying their place as trailblazers in the indie-country movement. Their albums “Beachwood Sparks,” “Once We Were Trees,” and “The Tarnished Gold,” released under Sub Pop Records, have earned widespread critical acclaim. Each album showcases their distinctive blend of psychedelic country, praised for dreamy melodies, lush instrumentation, and evocative songwriting. Their self-titled debut established them as indie-country innovators, while “Once We Were Trees” further solidified their reputation with introspective lyrics and ethereal soundscapes. “The Tarnished Gold” continued their legacy, displaying musical growth while maintaining timeless appeal. In 2024, Beachwood Sparks makes a triumphant return with “Across The River Of Stars,” produced by Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes). Fans eagerly anticipate their signature blend of cosmic Americana and dreamy melodies. After a hiatus, they not only deliver new tunes but also grace the live stage once again, captivating audiences worldwide with their mesmerizing performances.

The Asteroid No.4 Biography
The Asteroid No.4 are an American psych/shoegaze band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originating from Philadelphia in the latter half of the 1990s, the band began their relocation to the west coast in 2011.
Since forming, the band has endured several lineup changes. Over the last ten years, however, they have consistently included Scott Vitt (vocals, guitar), Eric Harms (guitar) and Matty Rhodes (bass, vocals). Drummer Mark Tarlton (formerly of Echodrone) joined the band in the Summer of 2020.
The band is known for their dynamic live act, integrating multi-textured guitars and reverb-drenched vocal harmonies over an unwavering rhythm section. However, it’s been their prolific recording output, including their eleventh album “Tones of the Sparrow”, that’s helped build their dedicated fan base within the underground psych scene. With well over a dozen compilation appearances, digital-only rarity releases, and multiple singles and EPs, the band continues to hone its distinct sound with each release.
The Asteroid No.4’s sound has been called a “hypnotic hybrid of several different genres filtered through the kaleidoscope of all things psychedelic.” Whether it be “shoegaze”, 12-string driven jangly folkrock, “Kosmiche Musik” or even the occasional dabbling in “Cosmic” countryrock, the band have never shied away from being faithful to the sounds passed on by their influences.
