The Javelins

The Javelins were formed during the recording of frontman Niall Fitz's acoustic E.P. After several jams, and session slots on the E.P, we decided to give it a shot as a ‘proper band’. We released our debut EP on 19th April 2014. The launch event held at The Blessington Carriage in Derby was a big success sparking a lot of interest in our material. Since then we have played shows all over the Midlands and there are many more future dates confirmed further afoot. Our sound is formed around original acoustic compositions, with the added umph a full 4 piece brings. Currently writing and recording more material for our second release due in the Autumn of 2014, we hope to keep the momentum going and keep the gig calendar busy.
