Alison Krauss is the powerhouse in front of the band Alison Krauss & Union Station. A bluegrass singer and virtuoso fiddle player who grew up in Champaign, Illinois, Krauss signed with Rounder Records at 14, released her first album Too Late To Cry at age 16 and now counts 10 studio records to her name. Alison Krauss is the winner of 21 Grammy awards, making her The Recording Academy's most honored female recording artist.
