Originating from a quaint café in Ormstown, Quebec, the band's journey across Canada and into the United States has imbued their music with a rich tapestry of genres and styles, creating an authentic contemporary Canadia sound. Durham County Poets Biography
The Poets are: Dave Whyte guitars; Carl Rufh upright bass; Neil Elsmore guitars; Jim Preimel percussion; Kevin Harvey vocals.
Together over 115 years experience or so.
We have played and do play in blues bands,gospel group, rock and even yes dare I say, country bands. Always with passion, but playing other peoples songs. Now we come together to offer our own material, a mix of sounds and stories. Some songs lying dormant for over a decade, others newborn.
