This Friday June 7th, get yourselves down to the Frog and Fiddle as we bring you the highly anticipated return of 'El Moono' to the Barn - following up from their appearance at our 2023 'Freestival: Winter Jam' - they are bringing the heat with this HUGE line-up in support of their 2024 Album release! Featuring support from 'Crooked Little Sons', 'Amber Palace' & 'TOAST'!
EL MOONO
El Moono are an alternative rock band from Brighton. Having supported the likes of Black Peaks, Phoxjaw and Haggard Cat on tour, they released their debut album 'Temple Corrupted' in 2022. This year sees El Moono embarking on a follow up Album launch Tour in support of 'The Waking Sun' their 2024 release!
With unique influences of rock, hardcore, metal and grunge, the off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riffs, emotive songs and expressive lyricism combine to create a sound that?s difficult to pigeonhole. Although, fans of Thrice, Audioslave & Deftones will have plenty to sink their teeth into. El Moono are one of the most exciting up and coming bands who should not go unnoticed.

El Moono - Brighton, UK.
El Moono are back with Chains, the first single from their highly anticipated debut album, recorded at Middle Farm Studios.
The band are further exploring their off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riff writing, emotive soundscapes and expressive lyricism to create a record that will further prove their “genre-phobic” reputation.
2022 saw the band's release of the critically acclaimed EP ‘Temple Corrupted’ via Lockjaw Records, (Belvedere, Jamie Lenman, DARKO) and heavy touring around the UK & Europe (with the likes of Black Peaks, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, The Hyena Kill and more) which cemented the band as favourites within the post-metal/post-hardcore scene. The EP explored themes of human self-destruction and depression, containing seven emotive tracks that flow together to create an overarching musical narrative with poignant concepts.
Exploring themes of human self-destruction and depression, the narrative is set to “seismic riffs of grunge with the atmospherics of post-rock” - Guitar World
