It feels just as at home in the sixties as it does in the TikTok age. It also resounds louder as time goes on. Haley Reinhart brandishes such a voice. The expansive scope of her range comes into full focus on her 4th album, Lo-Fi Soul. In many ways, Haley began working towards this album and her artistry as a child. Mom and dad share a Midnight Band, and unsurprisingly, their daughter would sing before she could talk. She spent countless hours engaged in rhyming games with her mother or locked into a call - and - response as a baby with her father. In 2009, Haley was the first songstress ever to join her high school jazz band where they performed at both Montreux and Umbria jazz festivals. Her fascination with all things classic continued as she became a fan of The Beatles and Janis Joplin, to Ella Fitzgerald and Sly s That Sound. Haley plays regularly with Robby Krieger of The Doors among other rock legends; she continues to keep her rock n roll roots intact. The double platinum - certified Chicago-born/Los Angeles - based singer and songwriter exudes anempowering level of charisma and confidence earned by a quiet, decade-long grind. Haley landed third place and became a fan favorite on season 10 of American Idol. She recently returned to AI, this time as a mentor, coaching contestants singing in the Soul Genre. Her dynamic presence powered four solo albums Listen Up! [2012] Interscope Records, Better [2016] Red Dot, Whats That Sound? [2017] Concord Records, and Lo-Fi Soul [2019] on her self-owned label, Reinhart Records. Haley has been known to leave her mark on countless films and commercials singing in the new Mazda ad, Chase Bank, as well as shows including Love Island, Gossip Girl, Nashville, Riverdale, The Wilds, Americas Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and the list goes on...Meanwhile, her take on the Elvis Presley classic, Cant Help Falling In Love generated over 325 million Spotify streams and 100 million YouTube views within a few years of its release. What started off as a version sung for an Extra Gum Commercial, turned out to be a chart topping-radio hit and touring sensation. Haleys remake of the song peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and No. 31 on the Billboard Adult Pop Airplay chart.

Haley Reinhart Biography

Originally from the Chicago area, Reinhart was born into a musical family with a deep love of rock-and-roll, funk, jazz, classic pop, and the blues. In her early childhood, she started joining her parents’ rock band Midnight onstage and quickly found herself hooked on performing. "One memory that stands out is my golden birthday, when I turned nine on September 9, 1999,” says Reinhart. "My parents were playing a tattoo convention and there were all these tough-looking people and biker dudes there, and I got up to sing a LeAnn Rimes song with my hair in little Princess Leia buns. But then once I started singing it got so quiet and the tattoo machines all went off—everyone was listening to me. I was so overcome by it, I cried right afterward, but they were happy tears. I just thought to myself, ‘This is amazing.’” Through the years Reinhart continued singing with Midnight, and later joined a high school jazz band that led her to perform at major jazz festivals across Europe while still a teenager. She then studied jazz in college and, at age 20, landed a spot on season 10 of American Idol, eventually finishing in third place. The following year, Reinhart made her full-length debut with Listen Up!, a 2012 Interscope Records release that premiered at #17 on the Billboard 200 chart. A milestone year for Reinhart, 2015 marked the release of "Can’t Help Falling in Love” (a song included on her 2016 sophomore album Better). Chosen as the unforgettable soundtrack to the Extra Gum ad spot "The Story of Sarah and Juan,” Reinhart’s spellbinding rendition hit #1 on Spotify’s global viral chart in 2015 and has now amassed over 57 million streams on the platform. That same year, Reinhart began collaborating and touring with YouTube sensation Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, offering up jazz/ragtime/swing-inspired updates of songs like Radiohead’s "Creep” and The White Stripes’ "Seven Nation Army.” To date, Reinhart’s Postmodern Jukebox contributions have garnered more than 112 million views on YouTube.
