Fisher Biography

Australian tech-house producer Paul Fisher (aka Fisher) brings a sense of carefree fun to his productions, which strip away pretenses to focus on serving the dancefloor. He came to the public's attention in 2018 with his brassy single "Losing It," which was certified platinum in his home country and was nominated for a Grammy. The follow-up "You Little Beauty" was also a success, and Fisher continued releasing upbeat club material such as 2021's "Just Feels Tight," 2022's "It's a Killa," and 2023's "Take It Off."

Fisher was born and raised on the Gold Coast of Australia, where he pursued a career as a professional surfer for many years. The song went to number one on the Australian and American club charts, and was certified gold or platinum in Australia, Italy, Germany, and the U.K. It was also nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.

Fisher followed the success of "Losing It" with the -sampling "You Little Beauty," which similarly topped club charts and was nominated for an ARIA Music Award. The double A-side "Freaks"/"Wanna Go Dancin'" appeared in 2020, followed by "Just Feels Tight" in 2021.
