About Chichi Peralta
Talented percussionist/composer Chichi Peralta, born July 9, 1966 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic has been recognized for creating his own style, known as Fusón, combining jazz, afro-american, afro-cuban, and latin rhythms.
In 1997, the artist, from the Dominican Republic, recorded his first album, called Pa' Otro La'o, released in Latin America and the U.S., allowing the musician to get a Lo Nuestro Award. In the year 2000, Chichi Peralta teamed up with César Olarte and René Geraldino, issuing De Vuelta Al Barrio, followed by a worldwide tour.
