Ken Casio

Ken ‘cashflow’ Casio is a Texas hip hop artist born in 1996. Although he is commonly known for his artistry, he is the owner of Austin-based recording studio, Swaycon Studios of which he opened in conjunction to Sonae Styles(@sonaestyles) salon in January of 2022. Ken has came from a musical background from a very young age; he was in a calypso steel drum band from his childhood and a large portion of his family have ties to music and entertainment that sent his natural disposition towards music.

The worlds he chooses to blend within his music are derived from a number of different influences as he grew up listening to a number of genres. He takes artistic notes from the likes of Kanye West, Tyler The Creator, Quincy Jones, Flying Lotus, & MF DOOM; the list can go on. Ken started out with the name Kenny Casanova but in 2022 He officially changed to Ken Casio as he felt the name was more authentic to what he wants to represent. Under his former name, Ken released 5 solo mixtape/eps, two duo tapes and 4 projects with a large rap group, PNTHN in The span of 5 years. Key 2 The Lock is Ken’s latest project and is the first that he has released under his new name.

Ken’s music is a hurricane of braggadocios and facetious lyricism commonly over a grandiose soundscape that draws you into his prototypical dimension in a way similar to the way a black hole draws in all surrounding light.
