Albert Savage supply a heavy dose of screaming organs, thunderous rhythm section and gooey guitars, plus an affinity for improvisation and exploration. Having recently changed their name from “Mike Frank & Friends”, Albert Savage spawned from a collection of local musicians initially assembled to record a solo album for guitarist/songwriter, Mike Frank. Frank’s lyrics spotlight a fresh perspective on seemingly small, yet significant moments in life while the band’s musical chemistry and explosive presence lead audiences to a familiar dance. Taking inspiration from all the classic jam bands, Albert Savage encourages the live recording and distribution of their shows, and offers free mp3 downloads of several of their live performances.
