From the first sad, lilting note, singer-songwriter Lael Neale draws you into melodies strung with loss, regret, light and wit. Originally from the blue ridge mountains of Virginia, she has made a home in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Her songs are informed by a fascination with our world of opposites; darkness & light, love & ambivalence, beauty & grotesqueness, motion & stillness.
