The Super High-Tech Jet Fighters Biography
Formed in the summer of 2017, The Super High-Tech Jet Fighters is the vision of Wes Griffith (The Black Fins / The Stivs) and Logan Betz (The Last Post / Edgewood), born from their desire to write some catchy tunes, to get out and play live again, and to hang out every week.
Tommy Presite (Lebowskis / Strangest Hearts) joined the duo on bass in early 2018, with Dave Brooks (Tsunami Experiment / The Bad Luck Charms) rounding out the roster on second guitar in the Fall of 2020.
In just a few short years, this punk-influenced power pop outfit has made its mark on the scene as they continue to play shows and write and record new music. Their debut EP, "You Can't Miss Out on Tonight," was released on Rock Paper Records on January 31, 2020 with a follow-up EP, "A Softer Side," delivered shortly thereafter on Valentine's Day. Another EP, "Rock N' Roll," was released on October 30, 2020. Their fourth studio EP and newest effort, "Ramona's Basement," was released on March 10, 2023.
A vinyl release of "Ramona's Basement" in addition to their current discography is due out in 2024.
For fans of The Loved Ones, The Pink Spiders, The Methadones, Social Distortion, and good ole Rock n' Roll.
