About this concert
ARE YOU IN CONTROL?  That’s the question that Teenage Dads want you to answer during the Majordomo Tour!Fresh from playing Laneway Festival to some of the most vocal audiences across Australia, Teenage Dads are excited to announce a tour aimed at taking their fans further into a world where fun, energy, and the power of music reigns supreme. Driven by the power of their hit records including TEDDY, MIDNIGHT DRIVING, and SPEEDRACER amongst others, Connor, Jordy, Angus, and Vinnie are set to deliver the most spectacular shows they have ever staged.  Will the space buns appear?  Just how high can Connor jump? How hard can Angus and Vinnie drive the beat?  You’ll have to be there to find out.Teenage Dads have had a remarkable few years including their winning the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Award at the 2023 ARIA Awards and Rolling Stone magazine giving them the nod as “guaranteed to go global in 2024”.  Their three charting entries in 2024’s HOTTEST 100 for Speedracer, Midnight Driving, and their Like A Version rendition of Video Killed the Radio Star have proven their ability to deliver hit after hit.Special Guests:Phoebe Go - Previously fronting much loved acts Snakadaktal and Two People, Phoebe Go is the exciting new solo project of Australian alt-pop artist Phoebe Lou. The process of finding her voice as a solo artist has been, as described by Phoebe herself, daunting, but it has also set her free. Phoebe Go is a heartfelt project that, at its core, is full of hope. On this series of shows, Phoebe brings her band along and shows why she is the perfect main support, selected by Teenage Dads themselves.aleksiah – Music fans have been all about the Adelaide-based singer-songwriter since her debut single, Fern became all our favourite ear-worm in 2023.  Follow up singles, Ant Song and Pretty Picture, proved that the introspective artist knows how to deliver what fans want.  Her most recent single, Twenty Four finds her battling societal expectations about being two steps behind expectations of herself and in step with many of her fans being harder on herself than she should. In addition to her own headline shows, aleksiah has toured in support of Lime Cordiale, Holy Holy and appeared at Groovin the Moo 2023 as the triple j unearthed winner.  Teenage Dads invited her onto Majordomo following her having supported them on their recent 2023 national tour.

Teenage Dads Biography

Formed in 2017, the alt-poppers Teenage Dads combine the colour and warmth of the 60's with a grand theatrical feel, pushed with temperate synthesisers and rich melodies. The chemical madness and sporadic sounds within their writing are drawn from a wide range of artists, including King Krule, The Beach Boys, The Strokes and George Harrison.

Recently touring with Lime Cordiale around Australia in 2019, their kinetic and righteous live shows have propelled the band to performing alongside the likes of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Ruby Fields, Kingswood, Northeast Party House, Approachable Members of Your Local Community and The Montreals.
?
Writing, recording and producing their music from home, the band released their debut EP Wett Weather in 2017, followed by the release of their debut album Potpourri Lake in 2018 and Red EP in 2019. Pocket Money, their final single for the year, released on December 16th, 2019.

Having performed at St Kilda Festival in February, 2020 will also see the release of their latest single Adrenaline Rush, coming February 20th. Teenage Dads have just announced 'The Antics Roadshow', a co-headline tour of Australia with their friends The Moving Stills throughout March and April.
