Berlin-based drummer and producer, Magro, is a musical innovator blending Jazz with Hip-Hop/RnB production. Drawing inspiration from icons like Herbie Hancock and J Dilla, Magro's music defies genre boundaries, earning him critical acclaim and a devoted global following.
His debut album "Trippin" garnered the prestigious "German Jazz Prize" for "Debut Album of the Year" in 2021. Following this success, Magro released "II", collaborating with features like Leona Berlin and the renowned pianist BIGYUKI.
Magro's work includes collaborations with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Wayne Snow and the The Rolling Stones Project. With international tours and festival appearances from Jazzahead and WIM Festival Zambia to Belgrade Jazz Festival, Magro continues to push musical boundaries.

He uses his sultry-smooth voice to tell personal stories of love, heartbreak and unsettled identity with catchy melodies and relatable lyrics that sit on large arrangements screaming musical excellence above all.
Kulo is also a well celebrated session guitarist in Berlin’s growing R&B, Neo soul, Hip-Hop and Pop scene, working with artists like Sedric Perry, and Noah Slee as MD and guitarist for Berlin’s premier soulful vocal ensemble project, A Song For You.
