About this concert
Audience favourite Nell Bryden is back with a new and deeply personal album: ?I Love You So Much I?m Blind.? Putting a raw spin on her American blues and soul roots, Nell?s latest tour-de-force shows off her gorgeously rich and emotional voice. A New York songwriter who bravely shares her vulnerabilities, it feels like she is singing just for you. After years of struggling with heartbreak and infertility, Nell leads us through her journey of acceptance and redemption. ?I Love You So Much I?m Blind? may be her most emotionally powerful record to date. www.nellbryden.com www.youtube.com/@nellbryden

Nell Bryden Biography

Native New Yorker Nell Bryden grew up in a bohemian artist’s loft in Brooklyn, her mother a classical soprano and her father an oil painter. She got her singer songwriter start in the folk clubs of Boston before moving back to her hometown. When Europe began calling, she spent a decade in London honing her craft, touring extensively, playing upwards of 250 shows a year.

Having released her debut album “What Does It Take” in 2009 under her own record label, she became known as a BBC Radio 2 darling, and went on to enjoy 23 consecutive play-listed singles — a record-breaker even for major label artists. Her song about her experience in 9/11, called “Sirens,” from her second album “Shake The Tree,” was covered by Cher. Known as an artist who’s “at home” on stage, she’s supported Gary Barlow, Chris Rea, The Counting Crows, KT Tunstall, and Duane Eddy, among others, and played numerous festivals including CarFest, V Festival, and Proms In The Park.

Although she still runs her own record label, Nell is part of the BMG publishing family. Her seventh studio album is due June 10, 2022. In 2020 she released “The Collection,” an anthology of her 21 radio singles. She lives in Manhattan with her two dogs and a cat that inadvertently feature in her home studio recordings, notably her remote performance with the BBC Concert Orchestra during the Coronavirus lockdown, for Ken Bruce’s House Music Sessions.
