Life Size Models Biography
Life Size Models are a 5-piece indie rock band comprised of identical twin brothers, Chris and Stephen Seymour. As children, Chris and Stephen underwent a record number of ear surgeries and were at risk of permanently losing their hearing. Perhaps, as a rally against fate, the twins picked up instruments and began writing melodic and emotive indie anthems together.
Their goal? To one day live up to their own larger than life musical heroes, or “models”.
In 2019, LSM released their first single and caught the attention of legendary Bay Area tastemaker Aaron Axelson which resulted in terrestrial radioplay for over 24 weeks and multiple appearances on Bay Area based TV series: CW’s “B-Sides”, & "Soundwaves TV”.
In 2021 and 2022, LSM supported international headliners Circa Waves, Michigander, Bartees Strange, Hotel Mira, and Vista Kicks. With multiple releases scheduled through 2023, the band is poised for their biggest year yet.
