Alex Benjamin

Alex Benjamin is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He has played drums with critically acclaimed Americana band Hiss Golden Messenger, LA punk-jam party rockers Andy Frasco and the U.N, legendary songwriter/guitarist Bob Weir, leads an instrumental band featuring Justin Mazer and John Kimock, and continues to play with a variety of Americana artists/singer-songwriters. While living in Philadelphia, PA Al was also a drummer/pianist in a church, taught music lessons at a community arts program for adults with special needs, toured, and composed music for international brands including ZIMMERMAN and House of Noa. His solo debut as a composer and producer (feat. Phil Cook and Justin Mazer) is forthcoming.
