Belligerent Goat

Brisbane based band Belligerent Goat make their return to The Tote bringing their unique style of garage music. Genre bending songs stretch from garage punk to psychedelic jams; progressive arrangements blending fuzzed out guitars with melodic hooks and songs that build to chaotic cacophony. Their stage littered with synths and organs, pedals and guitars and only four members, the sheer intensity of the sound this band produces is reason enough to bear witness, not to mention the oft touching content and undeniable songwriting. They will be supported by friends Tapdog who have said they are bringing their set of high intensity rock and roll with a healthy touch of funk for your listening pleasure. The lineup will be rounded out with Lazy Dingo, indie rocking Tote favourites bringing their own brand of storytelling with their fuzzy surf rock tones and sometimes gritty, sometimes somber songs.
