Described as “on the heavy side with a dash of grunge-like allure” – GongSceneIon Sky smashed their way onto the music scene with the release of their debut EP Regeneration, featuring music videos for songs "Round The Neck", rated best debut single of 2022 on The Hard Rock Show, "Devil's Corner" which has reached a massive 544 thousand views on Facebook, and "Walk Through Fire" currently clocking in at over 128 thousand views on YouTube, in addition to their music having been played on the radio at stations all across Australia, including Triple M.On Thursday the 2nd of May at The Leadbeater Hotel, Ion Sky will be performing all the songs from Regeneration live for the first time, plus a whole lot more, with special guests Burn City Saints and Joe Laf Band, in what is set to be a massive night of Hard Rock for 2024.

Ion Sky Biography
Ion Sky performs light rock, country, pop, hard rock and alternative music. Ion Sky is a four piece band that is guaranteed to get you on your feet. Ion Sky is influenced by many popular artists of today that most live bands don't cover. Some of these include Cee-Lo-Green, Jason Derulo, Sugarland, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, while also sticking to the classics of Journey, Melissa Etheridge, Pat Benetar and the Rolling Stones.
Lead by Tara Graves on vocals, acoustic guitar and keyboard. She began with a solo career for a few years before the creation of Ion Sky. Her unique tone and power is sure to impress you, coming from such a small stature.
Accompanying the sound of Ion Sky is lead guitar player Gregg Stranahan (formerly of the original band Sanity). His melodic sounds and perfected riffs complement the sound of Ion Sky.
On bass guitar, Jack Pasquale has been playing bass since the late 70’s in numerous bands throughout the area, a few of those including Imposter, Us, The Strangers, Rocketship 7, and the Jetskis. Jack’s style is Rock, Blues and Motown. Jack takes over the rhythmic complexity of each song, adding his own flavor.
Last, but certainly not least, Bradley Heath on Drums. Heath has previously drummed for other bands across Western New York including MIZZBEHAVIN', KISS THIS and the Swamp Yankees. Heath has played drums amongst many professionals, such as Eric Singer, Steven Adler, Brent Fritz and Deen Castronova. Heath's fresh beats complete the sound of Ion Sky
The intense passion and drive from all four members of Ion Sky, allow the band to be as tight as possible while having fun with the audience at the same time.
Ion Sky plays various venues and events including bars, clubs, parties, private events, benefits, festivals, weddings, reunions and much more. The band is able to adjust their sound and sets to fit the environment and crowd.
