Growing up in a town of 5000 people with only one country station coming in clear in his childhood bedroom, Matt James, was steeped in country music from a young age. Though he has fronted hard rock band, Blacktop Mojo for the past ten years, his solo music has given him the creative outlet to experiment with a bit of that music he grew up hearing on his old clock radio.
