When The Cat’s Away, one of New Zealand’s beloved bands, reunited in October 2023 after 33 years to honor their late friend and bandmate Margaret Urlich. Their sold-out show and the overwhelming response from Kiwi fans affirmed their enduring presence in the country's music scene. The band, comprised of Margaret, Annie, Debbie, Kim, and Dianne, originally formed in 1986, captivating audiences with their powerful voices and diverse musical styles. Their reunion concerts, held across Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Auckland's Powerstation, feature both their classic hits and cherished songs. Joined by a talented backing band, The Band of Gold, and original members Brett Adams, Gary Verberne, Michael Russell, and Barbara Griffin, the shows will be unforgettable. Sharing the stage are fellow NZ music legends, HERBS, marking 40 years since both bands began their remarkable journeys and their induction into the NZ Music Hall of Fame.
