ANDY EZRIN withPHILIP NORRIS-Acoustic BassJIMMY MacBRIDE-DrumsJOHN ELLIS- Soprano Saxophone Featured guest:RANDY BRECKER-Trumpet.Andy Ezrin was born and raised in the Boston area and began playing the piano at the age of ten.By age twelve he was playing professionally.He studied at The Boston University School of Fine Arts,The Tanglewood Institute, Oberlin College Conservatory,and received his BA in Jazz Studies at the University of Miamis Frost School of Music . Andy has performed extensively worldwide since 1989 at major jazz festivals worldwide including Montreaux, North Sea, Montreal as well as Live Under The Sky in Japan. He has also performed numerous times at Carnegie Hall,Jazz At Lincoln Center,The Hollywood Bowl and at the United Nations. Andy has 12 trio recordings under his own name including his soon-to-be released recording of brand new original compositions this coming Spring featuring Randy Brecker,John Pattitucci,Donny McCaslin and Marcus Gilmore. He has recorded and toured extensively as multi-keyboardist with:Chris Botti, David Sanborn,Michael Brecker, Madeleine Peyroux, Christopher Cross,Joe Jackson and Rickee Lee Jones and New York Voices.Andy has also performed with U2s Bono and Edge,Sting,James Taylor,Mavis Staples,Lady Gaga,John Mayer, Neyo,50 Cent,Miley Cyrus,Cyndi Lauper, Patti Austin,Renee Fleming and Dr.John among many others.
