Ixaras is an Indie Pop Rock artist & songwriter who champions her self expression through the art of music.

Raised in Brisbane, Ixara is a 16 year old queer artist who has been singing, writing and playing guitar since she can remember. Alongside her incredibly thought provoking lyrics and melodic earworms, Ixara champions youth, inclusivity and accessibility with her all-ages, DIY gig company ‘Anti-Dismal’, which is introducing the love of live music to a new generation of punters. This year she has put on multiple sold out shows across Brisbane where not a phone is in sight.

Now in less then a year since the release of her fist single ‘lately’, Ixara has culminated an impressive line of accolades including being named as a Triple J Unearthed High Finalist, received a triple j slot at BIGSOUND, shared the same stage as artists such as Mallrat, The Grogans, Grinspoon, Tyne James Organ and Luca Brasi and had a hugely successful release with ‘sprouts’. In a matter of days sprouts received 500K+ TT Views and Ixaras discography and socials got flooded with new fans. The track is now sitting on 115K+ purely organic streams.
