Silas Fermoy

Silas Fermoy began in New York after singer/songwriter Joshua Mash switched from playing acoustic music to buying his first synth keyboard, and recording in his home studio. Over the next four years, it grew into an indie/rock/pop outfit with an array of New York musicians lending their talents to the project. In that course of time, they released the EP titled "Chapters" and toured all over the east coast from Philadelphia to Austin, TX where they played SXSW music festival in 2013. When 2015 hit, Josh yearned to return to northern California where he’d spent part of his childhood, but before leaving, he recruited former Elefant drummer Kevin McAdams, and producer Jason Cummings to help record his final New York EP, “Clouds that Dropped You.” After its release, Josh drove across country and began recruiting musicians in the Bay Area who all shared his vision. He met guitarist Phillip Pope, with whom he felt an immediate musical connection with and they began writing new material. With vigorous rehearsal and time spent on perfecting their new material, Silas Fermoy looks to bring their sound to the West Coast. Bay Area-based indie/rock/pop
