I must say it was a fabulous night... despite being Sunday evening and a drive away. Those guys are really on their mettle, fantastic to hear a good harmonica player and bass guitarist as the singer !

Story so far…
The UK’s most exciting contemporary blues-rock artists; The Bad Day, exploded onto the scene in 2017, playing to a sell out crowd in Times Square, New York City with double Grammy Award winner Delbert McClinton.

This amazing announcement show was then followed by two critically acclaimed performances at The Isle Of Wight Festival in both 2018 and then again in 2019. BBC Radio play swiftly followed, Abbey Road sessions and endorsement deals with some of the music industries most respected companies; Orange amplifiers, Guild Guitars, Seydel Harmonicas, Crom bass, Warwick, Ernie Ball and Wild Customs.

Energy and attitude
The Bad Day have wowed audiences at many of the U.K’s major festivals, with their unique style of energetic Rock n Roll-Blues. They have played many memorable shows at Love Rocks, Wildfire, Carlisle Blues-Rock Fest and have shows looming at HRH 02 Sheffield and many others.

Unpredictable and raw
The infamous Bad Boys of the blues scene have played alongside artists such as The Killers, Kirk Fletcher, Ben Poole, The Manic Street Preachers, Starsailor, Badly Drawn Boy, Delbert McClinton, George Ezra, Cheryl Crow and many many others. Quite a feat when you consider they have only been together since 2017. You never quite know where there performance will lead to, including harmonica and guitar duals or screaming and shouting catchy chorus lines from new original blues rock belters!

Mainstream media attention
Featured in international mainstream media such Bassplayer magazine (US and UK), Classic Rock Magazine and many others the group are very well respected amongst their Industry peers.

Television interviews on U.K mainstream channels; London Live TV, SKY, Virgin and Freeview have teased as to what may come from the group. They are naturals in front of the camera as well as on stage, with an uncanny, cheeky knack for promotion and marketing.

Songwriting ability
In short, they have a very unique set of skills, songwriting ability does not often come in these packages. They have a very well balanced live performance featuring extremely skilled musicians that excel at improvisation and stage charisma.

With their self titled concept album proving the band have something very different to offer, new music on the way and a brilliant live schedule set for this year, the future is very exciting for The Bad Day!
