la Rappresentante di Lista Biography

La Rappresentante di Lista is an Italian band formed in Palermo in 2011 by guitarist Dario Mangiaracina and lead vocalist Veronica Lucchesi. The duo met during a theatrical tour and started shortly after to write songs inspired by common feelings. Gradually, music became a main job and in 2014 their debut album (Per la) via di casa, produced by Roberto Cammarata, was released on the label Garrincha Dischi. It was especially with the release of the second album in 2015, Bu Bu Sad, that the band succeeded to draw the attention of a peculiar audience. In 2016 Marta Cannuscio (drums), Enrico Lupi (trumpet and keyboards) and Erika Lucchesi (tenor sax e percussions) joined the band. LRDL received several nominations and awards (including Targhe Tenco, Arezzo Wave Festival, Musicultura, MEI - Independent labels meeting). During their 2016 tour the band recorded a live version of the album: Bu Bu Sad (Live), that was eventually released in March 2017. Their last tour ended with almost 200 gigs, including Sziget Festival. In December 2018 Go Go Diva was released. The drummer Roberto Calabrese joined the band for the Go Go Diva tour 2019.
