Christian Nodal, born on January 11, 1999, in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, is a charting Mexican musician, singer, and songwriter. He is known for popularizing “mariacheño” - a genre that weds norteño and mariachi music, especially by using the accordion to bridge traditions.
From a young age, Christian Nodal demonstrated an innate musical ability and a deep appreciation for traditional Mexican sounds. He began writing songs at age 13 and posting videos of his performances on social media. He drew the attention of Fonovisa's A&R department, which signed him in 2016.
In 2016, Christian Nodal released his debut single, "Adios Amor," which reached the top spot in the Mexican Regional Songs chart and peaked at number two on the Top Latin Songs chart, where it spent over 25 weeks.
Following the success of "Adiós Amor," Christian Nodal released his debut album, "Me Dejé Llevar," in 2017.
