46 Brigade Biography

Lyrically narrative and melodically engaging, '46 Brigade' are an indie pop/rock outfit from Perth, Western Australia.

Their high energy, occasionally melodramatic sound offers wide appeal to a large demographic. The music has been likened to bands such as The Killers, Keane, Imagine Dragons and even Bruce Springsteen at times.

Before the release of their recent EP "Against the Tide", 46 Brigade released 2 full length albums, 'Reverse The Future' and 'into the great unknown', both of which received glowing reviews from their peers.

'Into the great unknown', is an album featuring many world class songs about love, loss and hope, and was mixed and mastered by Grammy award winning Swedish mix engineer, Thomas Juth.

The album sparked a fire in many new listeners, with strong melodies and lyrics that touch souls.

'Reverse the Future' is an album of contrast, light and shade, but the same blend of catchy crowd pleasing songs the band is known for.

The new EP "Against the Tide" is a release the band are immensely proud of. Packed with 6 great new tracks, it has been widely received by a huge demographic of new fans and received widespread airplay as a result.

46 Brigade have played many shows around WA, including touring venues such as Astor Theatre, Amplifier Bar, Mojos, The Rosemount, Freo Social, Lynott's Lounge, The Basso and many more.

They were also asked to perform their song 'Soldier' at the annual Anzac Day AFL commemorative match in front of a crowd of around 40,000 people at Patersons Stadium in Perth, WA. in 2013

With a string of support shows also under their belt, including openers for Aussie icons 1927 at The Astor Theatre and Freo Social in WA, and The Superjesus 2021 WA tour, the band are hoping to go on a small regional tour early in 2023.

Take a listen to the music of 46 Brigade. There's a lot to like! Check it out!
