From Boiler Room to Festivals, few artists have made the impact of Panjabi Hit Squad. Rav & Dee are creators and pioneers of the now world-famous Desi Beats sound and have been present at the very forefront of the South Asian Music Scene since their formation.
Their sought-after DJ performances have electrified dance floors across the world with their unique signature sound, which encompasses western music mixed with eastern beats. All this by jumping from club sets to high-profile festival performances and merging music genres with ease.

Many of their songs break through and cross genres and cultures, this can be seen with placements on Buddha Bar compilations, TV adverts and films.
Their iconic track "Hai Hai" featuring Ms Scandalous exemplified the potential for cross-cultural music collaborations. It highlighted the ability of the squad to create music that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries. The song is characterized by its catchy beat, energetic rhythm, and a blend of Panjabi and English lyrics. It became significant hit and was also championed by the late Sir John Peel on BBC Radio 1.
