Despite operating under the radar for the most part, Manikin's music has been released on imprints around the globe and recieves regular radio and club support from the biggest names in the scene. With releases on Ekou Recordings, Skank & Bass & Delta 9, Manikin's growing body of work is diverse and far reaching. His music explores the balance between deep reflection and high energy, demonstrating the broad influences on his uncompromised approach to Drum & bass. Following a hiatus, Manikin has stepped back into his craft and has been preparing a string of releases for 2024 and beyond, on labels both new and familiar to him.Making the trip from her new home in Sydney, we welcome DJ Mystique. A pioneer and mainstay in Australia's Drum & Bass scene from it's incarnation, this will be her first set here in 5 years. Her work, not just as a skilled and talented DJ and Promoter but as a shining light and ambassador for female equality in Drum & Bass culture, has been instrumental in nurturing the careers of some of the world's most prominent bass music producers. We look forward to hosting her special return to the Perth stage.Voortrekker is no stranger to Perth's underground music scene and we're excited to see what murky madness he's going to bring to SUB/stance. With a stack of experience both locally and internationally and with world class productions under his belt, Voortrekker never disappoints, consistently bringing his energy and vibe on every occasion.Rounding out the lineup will be Jaise, packing a stock pile of the freshest dubs and promos from Metalheadz, Dispatch and other label and artist affiliates along with wTrouble for his first appearance at SUB/stance. wTrouble has been a regular at our events and has impressed us with his skills and knowledge of underground music and Drum & Bass culture. Looking forward to what he has in store.It is our objective to build a collective and creative environment for artists, DJ’s, cultural enthusiasts and those with a keen interest in the freshest Jungle/Drum & Bass to meet, dance, network, collaborate on future projects and build a culture that is passionate about hearing brand new, forthcoming underground music on a system designed and engineered for Jungle/Drum & Bass.
